What can I do with TapScanner online?

Can I try a PDF tool before creating an account?
Eligible tools can let you start a first task before login. The workspace shows the current file, page, and usage limits, while Premium tools and heavier or repeated jobs explain the required plan before processing.
What happens to a file after I process it?
Hosted processing may use temporary files. The normal download path removes the output when its stream closes, and scheduled cleanup handles stale temporary files. Immediate delete controls appear only on result screens that explicitly provide them; see the Trust Center for the current evidence and limitations.
Can I continue a document workflow from my phone?
Yes. You can scan paper documents in the TapScanner mobile app and use the web workspace when the next step needs a larger screen. The mobile and web experiences remain separate surfaces, so do not assume a scan has transferred to a browser until the product confirms it.
Will PDF to Word preserve every page exactly?
Selectable-text PDFs usually provide the best starting point. Scanned pages may need OCR first, and complex tables, columns, fonts, right-to-left text, and page breaks must be reviewed in the resulting DOCX before you reuse or share it.
